Professional Medical was established in 1980 by father and son Norman and Rex Hunter as a repair and calibration facility. In 1985 Professional Medical began selling refurbished equipment to the physician and veterinary market. Due to increased legislation on physicians Professional Medical focused its efforts solely on the veterinary market.
Professional Medical continues as a closely held family company. When you call, you will speak to Norman or Rex. Our goal is to provide veterinarians with quality new and refurbished equipment with full warranties. Our refurbished units include a six month warranty. As we started as a repair facility, Professional Medical sells only equipment that we can service. You will not be referred to the manufacturer, we take care of our customers first. Plus you will never be greeted with an automated answering system during normal business hours. A real person answers the phone!
Professional Medical's service facility is staffed with four factory trained personnel. You may call our toll free number 888-VET-STUF to speak with one our our technicians to trouble shoot your equipment. Often, the problem can be corrected over the phone or may need a user replaceable part. We are happy to ship parts. Should the problem be more severe we keep a full stock of loaner equipment for your conveninece. This means that your down time is as little as one day. A loaner can be arranged for UPS shipment as late as 3:30pm eastern time. Professional Medical will also arrange for UPS to pick up your broken equipment. There is a charge for shipping, packaging, insurance and a perparation fee. There is never a rental charge! We provide written estimates before repairs are effected.Our office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm eastern time Monday through Friday. Although not officially open on Saturday you will often find one of the family at the office so we invite you to call. We do have a answering system for after hours so you can always leave a message. We do return our messages!!
